  4. Working my way through a nice LP haul yesterday (53 extremely clean albums). Currently listening to Groove Holmes's "Soul Power!" LP, with Yusef Lateef's "The Sounds of Yusef" in the on deck circle.
  5. Whoa, that's a big blow. The first handful of issues won't come cheap. I might suggest this, which is an anthology of their best articles from the first 5 issues. Problem is that it's not complete. Good luck on your hunt.
  6. It will begin with Agent45's second post. Hey, this looks kinda fun!
  7. Hello! New member here from Atlanta. I've been aware of Organissimo since the days when I wrote for Uppers.org - and that's been a while ago now! I'm going to take some time to absorb everything going on here, so will probably be slow to begin contributing while I fill the sponge. I like almost all jazz music, though not particularly fond on anything too left field or avant garde (or 'contemporary' aka light jazz). My "bread and butter" is soul and funk jazz and have a long standing love affair with the Hammond organ. I used to own a 1958 M3, but sold it to a young and talented church organist so he could practice at home instead of always having to go into his church to play. I never had much talent for the keys myself, but was a music major in college (French Horn - go figure). Anyway, hello.
