Very sad to see him go. He was spectacular with Larry Coryell and the Eleventh House in the early-mid '70s.

I also listened to the Charlie Haden Liberation Music Orchestra, and plenty of Mingus.

Many of us felt some pretty strong emotions when Trump was elected, and again when he was sworn in. (I sure did, and still do!) Some turned to music, hopefully jazz. I am curious to know some examples of the music people chose to listen to at those times, whether to feed their emotional flames or to soothe their fevered brains. Have you anything to report? Pleased to root for my Washington Huskies in the Pac-12 championship game this week! If they prevail over Colorado, which I believe they will, they'll probably get a shot at the Big One. (Funny, it doesn't seem so long ago that they were 0-12.)
