  1. Final bump... 10% off any item. Post coming down on Monday... Any questions on any items, let me know. Thanks!
  2. I have been putting this off for awhile, but with trying to retire in 2013 and being out of work, I think it is time to try to sell some Mosaic sets. I will keep these up for a week and then consider to just keep them for another time where their sale is imperative/ outright necessity. All are in superb condition and some sealed/Brand New. Dizzy Reece Mosaic Select New/Sealed- OOP $75 Complete 1959 Charles Mingus CBS 4 Q-LP $125 Clef/Mercury Oscar Peterson Sealed 7 CDs European Version (Sealed) $125 Complete HRS Sessions 6 CDs (2 are still sealed) $175 BTW- I have a mint 12 LP set of the Count Basie Live Roulette set that I would like to trade for either the Studio Roulette (CD) or the same set in CD (Live). Unsure if any additional cash needed from buyer for the transaction Also I am open to a discussion of the sale of the newer but OOP Lester Young with Count Basie 1930s Mosaic set - Still Sealed- A tough one to decide to sell or keep. The same goes with the 6 LP set of Hall, Johnson, Dickenson, DeParis Mosaic set that is long OOP. Would much prefer a multiple purchase transaction and would give a small discount to same. Shipping at actual cost. Would prefer cash, checks from known members, US Postal money order, as Paypal has too many fees that chip away at $ I will receive. US SALES only. I have been member here for many years and would prefer to sell to our members. Can provide any other info when requested. Just send a PM or post. Thanks for looking. This post will come down next Sunday night. I prefer to avoid E-bay, Amazon if at possible and will likely keep these if no interest. Tough sales to make but at least they will go to folks who will value them... Thanks for reading this. Jeff

  6. I have an extra copy of this CD if anyone would like to make a trade?
  7. A great CD,,, Hope Joe is still in good health...
  8. Went to Ray's today. Not a real big selection and very little used. I have been spoiled by Amoeba, when I get down to the Bay Area.
  9. I have been in London since the 31st of July. Got into 2 track sessions and one indoor track cycling session. Really want to go to tomorrows 5000 meter on last day of Track, but with tickets going for over $1500 USD, it will never happen for me. Walked by Ronnie Scotts club in Soho yesterday. Roy Ayers is there Monday night. Getting the hang of navigating the Tube. If any locals are around and would like to hang, I am here till Tuesday morning. Send me a PM or e-mail. Have not bought one CD yet, but a few days left. I am staying near the Shepherds Bush Tube stop. Would be cool to meet some local Board members.
  10. I am going to London to attend the Olympics as I am a huge Track and Field fan-HOWEVER, I do not have tickets to any events. Everything sold out last October. Plus decent tickets PER DAY are $600-1000! Out of my price range! I may be watching the events from a pub. At least there won't be as many commercials as on US TV. I checked Ronnie Scott's schedule. Only the house band thru Olympics and then Roy Ayers the night before I leave. 50-80 pounds admission. Any other jazz scheduled during the Olympics? Any local Londoners want to meet up? I may have some time on my hands.. I am open to attend some other Olympic sports events if anyone has any leads on some reasonable priced events. I arrive next Tuesday late afternoon and in town till Aug. 14. Will be getting a throw away phone to make calls as my Sprint phone will not work there Someone suggested a place called Tesco where I can get a phone at 30 pounds including some minutes?? True? Would love a PM from locals. I am in Portland thru Sunday. Jeff
  11. BTW, for those folks interested in these sets, and without a set to trade, I would consider a trade for a 1930s-1940s tube table sized radio-restored- (they had only AM then) especially if it has an Ingraham wood cabinet. Ingraham made cabinets for Emerson and some other brands and put a plate on the radio with their name on it.
  12. I have the Mosaic LP version of the Basie Live Roulette MR 12-135 (12 LPs)-Set #1481- Superb condition Also I have a SEALED/NEW Phil Woods Quartet/Quintet MD5-159 (5 CDs) -Set #1182 (I also have the Horace Parlan MQ 8-197 LP set (NEW) and the 1959 CBS Mingus LP set (MQ 4-193) 4 LPs -if those are needed for a potential trade ) I am looking for the Basie Roulette Studio CD set, and the Shorty Rogers CD set. I would consider the Basie Live Roulette in CD version as part of a bigger trade. Can't think of any other OOP Mosaics I would be interested in. However, the Parlan CD set might be considered-but I would think that the LP set would have more value. Not considering selling any of these yet unless an exceptional offer is made.. Any trade proposals?
  13. Glenn: Mailed your Seven Steps box set today. ----------------------------------------------------------------- BTW: ( Miles' Jack Johnson long box still available-will leave up thru weekend)
