  1. for guitar i like most versions from joe pass, andre previn and ray brown on the album after hours and jimmy raney with sonny clark-album together, i'm almost sure jimmy bruno has a nice version of it as well but i don't remmeber well and don't have cd right here, i may be wrong also haha
  2. nice to see another akosh fan, yeah i also like (but not as much as akosh s unit of course)his colaborations with noir desir, they were one of the french bands i had in mind while writing the first message but didn't remember the name haha, by the way this song you linked is great, this was the first song of noir desir with akosh szelevenyi i ever heard and i love it
  3. glad you liked the music...well don't know what to suggest you, i think vetek or kebelen are nice to start with the akosh s. unit, however you could hear a sample by clicking on the covers of the recordings, the sample is too short tough so i'll throw this names: vetek, kebelen or imafa regards
  4. Akosh Szelevenyi an hungarian multiinstrumentalist (mostly reeds) who has blown my head with every recording he does, his music is highly influenced by central & eastern european folk, he's based on france and is one of the most recognized musicians on the french free jazz scene, don't know what to say, quietly he has become one of of my favourite artists, he's main project is an ensamble called akosh s. unit bein the regular members Joe Doherty, Bernard Malandai & Philippe Foch he has colaborated with some french bands and has a copuple of duo recordings with jöelle leandre, and few more with others. I just wanted to know if some of you people know him and waht's you opinion and also i'll be happy if i can introduce others to his music you can check out his site akosh site mostly for free & avant jazz lovers regards to all
  5. sure he don't run all the routes, i think he just can run the post besides goin' straight ahead, but he opened defenses and still carrid two defenders, he was helping brady by keeping defenses honest to the deep pass and that opened a lot of space for welker (whom i still think was the best WR on the field even when moss was there) mark this, the patriots offense will score less points since now, they're luck the got gronk and hernandez they're already important on the passing scheme but what moss can bring to the table can't be replaced, i don't get how he was hurting that offense
  6. i disagree,i think brady will miss moss, sure he's even already trying to bring back Deion Branch
  7. for me today was an exploding star orchestra day, i just grabbed the new one yesterday and heard it today after a little bit of exploding star feedback with their first album, i just put it on the highest volume, the sound was great and all my windows and doors were kind of stumbling down...great stuff here's the new one Stars Have Shapes released on Delmark
  8. Thanks! At that price, I'll get that pronto! (Cool cover, too ... ) yeah you have to check out some jose alfredo jimenez recordings, he's a legend on mexico... don't know what kind of mex you like since there are a lot of genres but herea are some artists you might like lola beltran, pedro infante, jorge negrete, lucha reyes, cuco sanchez, vicente fernandez, antonio aguilar, ramon ayala, javier solis, agustin lara and ana gabriel, some searchings on you tube for each one might help to decide if they worth the while for you. i personally like some jose alfredo aguilar tunes
  9. one from Carmell Jones ?!? which one is that? i meant Charles Tolliver haha sorry, i mixed up my thoughts maybe cause i was listening some carmell jones at the time, my bad, is one from charles tolliver live at slugs vol 1
  10. yeah i was hanging around on the aum fidelity web and noticed that CD, eveni thought the cover was pretty cool but i listened the clips and didn't convinced me
  11. watermelon song from raining on the moon, by william parker
