  5. That's all Lord has listed. I don't have the LP. Lord does not have the Sunday Afternoon issue you mention. The Zoller track could be mislabeled - I don't have any of these issues.

  8. I ordered this when the repressing was announced. FYI, my copy has the following errors: Disk 7 plays as Disk 9. Disk 8 plays as Disk 7. Disk 9 plays as Disk 8. I suppose I have the whole set, but I emailed Mosaic anyway to let them know. Other recent purchasers may wish to check this out.

  15. Saw the Wayne Shorter and Weather Report sets for $16.99 each (sealed) at a Half Price Books last night. May be worth checking out if you are near one of these stores.
  16. A great find - thanks to the original poster. I d'led five of the Birdland broadcasts, which fit onto 2 CDs. Played them through to glean info and was only partially successful. 17. More information on this session at: Peter Losin's Bird sessionography Note the assertion that the Columbia LP/CDs are off-speed.
  18. Did "All Blues" come out? It's not listed on Amazon (the others are). Thanks.
  19. Benny Harris in one Bird photo; Roy Haynes in the other. Ken Vail's Bird's Diary says that Bird, Harris, Haynes, Walter Bishop Jr., and Teddy Kotick toured in 1951, including gigs at Lindsay's in Cleveland, where the photos were taken. The photo exhibit says that all the shots were taken in 1952 or 1953; maybe the photographer's recollection is mistaken or the group also worked in 1952.
  20. Looks like someone got hold of Vic Dickenson's photo album/scrapbook and is auctioning the items on Ebay. Some of the photos may present a challenge in identifying the other participants. The items are located in "Entertainment Memorabilia" and most will appear on an Ebay search for "Vic Dickerson" (misspelling appears in most of the listings). I'm not the seller nor am I affiliated with the seller.
  21. http://www.archive.org/details/HollywoodPalace100265 About 40 minutes in. Also, Smith trio number about 35 minutes in. Enjoy.
  22. Evidently this person has found a way to improve the quality of b/w kinescopes quite a bit. Note: I am not the uploader nor do I have any connection with him - I was just impressed with the results. Thanks. "Seven Lively Arts"
