Is this the one you are talking about? Under Henry Grimes's name?

I like it. Which, considering how our tastes differ, means you might or might not.

Yeah, it's nice - and very varied stylistically too, something for everyone for the audience who were there. Originally wasn't going to get this one on LP but succumbed. Sonically it isn't audiophile but is very acceptable. I'm not a fan overall of the Yusef Atlantics and this one is very much in his acoustic/non-fusion bag. Lots of solo space for Kenny Barron, not surprisingly.
Tootie on drums. Waiting for the CD.

The best Murray I ever heard was that fantastic trio , He, Henry Grimes and Hamid Drake, one of the greatest concerts I heard in the 2000´s .
Yeah, in the 80´s he was so much around. Here in Austria he almost had a "Meldezettel" and Nickelsdorf Jazz Gallery and many many locals knew him personally. He was such a nice gentleman, not only the great musician he is.
There's a great CD of this trio - Live At The Kerava Jazz Festival.

I bought the 5CD box set of [ahmed], two discs in and it's a blast. They're certainly developing a signature sound, possibly not for everyone, that's taking the acoustic quartet to places it rarely visits.

Too late. The CD set is "sold out".

wow guys this is a winner, what an awesome release. I’d say cd 1 is great and cd 2 is essential. Nice package. Reviewed it on my blog here:

Might be a generational / old fart thing on my part, but if the Young book can be counted on to appear I'll pass on Freeman.
I mainly stick to the music these days. I used to read a lot of the jazz books, but less & less.

What kind of "real sugar" would one expect in a root beer if not cane sugar? Am I missing out on something? Please advise.
IBC is great, and has been easily available in supermarkets here for decades now. There are "craft" root beers that maybe have better flavor, but they cost a lot and availability is spotty at best. I mean, hell, it's root beer. IBC tips the top for me!!!
The label also says "naturally & artificially" flavored. Wonder what that means.

Me too. I put one in my cart to check shipping costs and was pleasantly surprised.
Second time it's happened recently: I bought some CDs direct from Graindelavoix (classical vocal ensemble) in Belgium and US postage was also reasonable. The package was cheaper than it would've been buying from US dealers. 👍
What US dealer(s) have it??

Based on the bandcamp site quoting price in Swedish Krona (SEK), I assume Sweden.
I initially stopped there, BUT on review the shipping fee is actually quite reasonable, although I expect the effective exchange rate (net of credit card or Paypal surcharge) to be less favorable than quoted:
"that’s $45.69 USD, plus $9.59 shipping for United States."
Tempted. 😎
