Thanks for the info CT, much appreciated.

Thanks. I'm looking to add to my vinyl collection. I sold off a few Blue Notes in order to fund these purchases.

Looking for a nice original copy of October Woman and Black Marigolds on Argo. Already checked eBay and Discogs. Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks.

Can anyone comment on the session that Hartman did in '61 with the Andrew Hill Trio?

Happy Belated B'day. Hope you enjoyed yourself! -
Berigan, my sincerest condolences.

Love that one too! I'm also partial to MATADOR and IWTHYH. I like GRANT'S FIRST STAND also.

What is the Cha-Lacy nickname all about? Isn't that a title of one of the songs on Eastern Man Alone?

Picked up a few goodies this weekend that I've been spinning: Ray Draper Quartet w/ John Coltrane - beat up copy; but the music is great! Jimmy Smith - Rockin' The Boat Chico Hamilton Quintet - Ellington Suite

AOTW June 14-20: Ted Curson "Tears for Dolphy"

I really like this one! Haven't listened to it in lately though. This is the only session that I've ever heard Bill Barrron on and he really shines. There is a great synergy between him and Curson. -
make any recent Dusty Groove orders?

Bought a few nice platters from them lately at decent prices. I got a nice (VG+) copy of Stanley T's Dearly Beloved (Blue&White Liberty Stereo) for $13. I also picked up a great copy of Shirley Scott's Queen of the Organ for $5 (Original Impulse; cover wear, but VG++ vinyl).
