Thanks for the info CT, much appreciated.
  2. LF Garrick on Vinyl

Thanks. I'm looking to add to my vinyl collection. I sold off a few Blue Notes in order to fund these purchases.
  3. LF Garrick on Vinyl

Looking for a nice original copy of October Woman and Black Marigolds on Argo. Already checked eBay and Discogs. Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks.
  4. Johnny Hartman

Can anyone comment on the session that Hartman did in '61 with the Andrew Hill Trio?

Happy Belated B'day. Hope you enjoyed yourself!
  8. Help!

You probably should put a call into the SPCA. The poor dog deserves a good home.
  9. My Mom died Tuesday.......

    Berigan, my sincerest condolences.
  10. Green Street

Love that one too! I'm also partial to MATADOR and IWTHYH. I like GRANT'S FIRST STAND also.
  11. Happy Birthday Charles Tyler

What is the Cha-Lacy nickname all about? Isn't that a title of one of the songs on Eastern Man Alone?
  12. What vinyl are you spinning right now??

Picked up a few goodies this weekend that I've been spinning: Ray Draper Quartet w/ John Coltrane - beat up copy; but the music is great! Jimmy Smith - Rockin' The Boat Chico Hamilton Quintet - Ellington Suite
  13. How's the weather?

    Raining like a SOB.
  14. Roy Ayers

Virgo Vibes is a great session! Definitely worth checking out.
  15. AOTW June 14-20: Ted Curson "Tears for Dolphy"

I really like this one! Haven't listened to it in lately though. This is the only session that I've ever heard Bill Barrron on and he really shines. There is a great synergy between him and Curson.
