  7. mine was shipped from Amazon.jp today I hope they do something similar with the Wave project (Peacock, Satoh & Togashi) from the 1980s, those three albums are long out of print and are excellent! https://www.discogs.com/Masahiko-Togashi-Gary-Peacock-Masahiko-Satoh-Wave/release/2895605
  8. Maybe you got it in before the Brexit debacle happened, mines probably in some sack in France delayed by all the inevitable red tape!
  9. Yeah, I ordered around the same time, also via eBay and still not arrived here to UK either, usually their delivery is v efficient.
  10. This looks pretty interesting, i did like this trio of Gary Peacock, Masabumi Kikuchi & Motohiko Hino, not cheap though! 芽瑠璃堂 > GREAT 3 『コンプリート・セッシッョンズ 1994 (4CD)』KKJ9006-09 (merurido.jp)
  11. Has anyone picked up this new version of this 1973 show, wondered how it is https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B08F6RYGJT/ref=ox_sc_saved_image_3?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1 I know it’s been out before but Hi Hat have done some decent Miles shows before so thinking it might be an upgrade, supposedly remastered but then they all say that don’t they!

  18. Most Japanese reissues recently seem to omit any bonus tracks that appeared on similar Western counterpart versions, I wonder if its a licensing thing or purely to keep it just like the original version.
  19. I’ve always been interested in the Jack De Johnette - Jackeyboard one, amazingly in these days of everything being available I have never come across a rip or leak of it anywhere! Does anyone have it, what’s it like?

  21. It’s been listed on the Strata East site for years yes but this is first time it’s actually been listed on a proper vendors site so hoping for the best! so no one has any idea what time period the Trenches session is from?
  22. Just noticed that Dusty Groove now have this cd ( I assume it’s same version, it’s listed as just on Strata East) coming into stock soon for those who balked at Mosaics postage. Also listed coming in next couple of weeks is one by him entitled “In The Trenches”, anyone know what this is, is it some of the long promised archive stuff that was mentioned years back?? https://www.dustygroove.com/item/944527?incl_cs=1&no_incl_in=1&sort_order=release_date&format=cd https://www.dustygroove.com/item/944626?incl_cs=1&no_incl_in=1&sort_order=release_date&format=cd Just found an old mention of In The Trenches here, no date of recording though http://www.serecs.com/coming.html
  23. It actually sounds really great sound wise going by the bandcamp sample and is that period just after the Impulse years and the one album he made for India Navigation, i’m not that familiar with the other players in the band though.
  24. its still considerably more than vinyl sales!, in the uk last year 28 million cds were sold and 4.3 million LPs, by your logic why bother with vinyl either. An interesting read https://www.superdeluxeedition.com/feature/saturday-deluxe-18-january-2020/#more-155797
  25. Utterly ridiculous, where is the business sense of these people, much like the Frank Low / Rashid Ali item , if they are not going to bother with cd then i'll just download illegally, they need to realise that there is still a good market for jazz cds and most people (on here at least) like a physical product and are unlikely to pay for digital files, the cost to produce cds is negligible comparatively.
