I snagged the last copy on another website a few minutes after posting my rant.
Another good site for finding RSD stuff, which @jazzbo mentioned in another thread, is https://rsdmrkt.com

That’s a very helpful site. I’ll have to bookmark it for future use.

Whoever the genius is who decided to make the Nat King Cole Live At The Blue Note Chicago CD set a limited edition of 5000 has evidently created a firestorm of speculators snapping up every copy for resale. I was planning on buying it online at 8 am ET when it was first available, but got up early and then fell back asleep. All of the usual sellers had no stock by the time I awakened again at 9:15 am, it took awhile to find a copy anywhere. I already spotted some obvious resellers asking prices of $50 or more.
I don’t know if you bought it but this retailer has it for $26.

The people over at SH are pretty helpful because they post retailers who have items.

Amazon has the Cole cd listed but as unavailable. Perhaps that’s a space saver.
Stores can start selling their unsold stock on Sunday. I’m sure there will be many listings on Discogs tomorrow for RSD material.

He’s irreplaceable. His contribution is immeasurable. RIP.

Do we anticipate that these will be available as downloads as well?
The Manne is from Reel to Real so I’d say no but RTR is part of Cellar Live and their store is on Bandcamp so I suppose it’s a possibility.
The others are from Elemental Music and I don’t know if they do downloads. However, they partnered with Zev Feldman on these and Resonance has done downloads.
So, I wouldn’t say no but I wouldn’t say yes either.

This is probably the only RSD vinyl I’m purchasing. I want to have this one in vinyl; also makes the notes easier to read. I will probably order the other RSD releases that I wish to purchase in cd. If it’s sold out, then I will just get the cd.

The funny thing about this thread is that almost all of the people who posted on it no longer are active or don’t post here anymore.

We Were the Lucky Ones, based on a novel about a Jewish Polish family during the Holocaust. It’s ok, not great; a little too clean and some things aren’t credible but, hey, it’s tv.

By coincidence I listened to him yesterday on the J.J. Johnson Mosaic. RIP.

Bump. Is FB or Gmail the preferred method for Jim A contact, regarding new members? Or should someone else be in charge of adding folks?
FB. He’s pretty active there.

The question I have is how the translator got access to the bank account(s).

She said "This is the best place for you," and because dementia is a progressive disease all I could conclude was that she thought I should stay there until I died. But I was only 81, and my dad, though there are no guarantees, made it to 95. Also, when I talked to my friends on the phone, they all said I sounded like myself, and I thought I did too -- though the was then cited was then cited as evidence a la Catch 22 of my continuing deterioration (as in "what would a demented person think"). My lawyer said it was the most amazing situation he had ever encountered. And my wife's role/motivation remains a mystery to me. My shrink's verdict: "second marriage."
This probably counts as prying and my apologies in advance but are you and your wife still together.

I am very, very sorry to hear this and quite sad. He will be missed. I’m glad David posted a photo. A sad day for me. RIP Bill.

As mjzee mentioned you should have two emails. With many sites, your alternative one acts as your recovery email.
