Whoa! I wholly approve. There are some worthwhile rarities on this set by Tuff Green, Phinus (sic) Newborn (Newborn family band), Wilbur Steinberg and others. I can't imagine that there are a lot of people who want a 20 disc set spanning James Reese Europe to Albert King... I, predictably, want this darn thing.

Elmo Hope, Percy Heath, and Philly Joe Jones on two sessions here as well.

I didn't expect to get much out of the Ellington '32-40 box as I had the material in other collections, but it is probably my all-time favorite Mosaic set.

Best version of Indian Red ever.

Thanks to insights gained from this site and the Mosaic set, I've gone on a Sonny Clark Trio binge which has taken me to the Time trio recordings.

I went straight for the trio selections based on advise from this forum.
