  1. Anybody Heard From Jazzmoose Lately?

So sad. Really enjoyed his contributions.
  2. Happy Birthday Chuck Nessa!

    Happy birthday!
  3. Jack Wilson, Pianist

Used to really like his stuff with Roy Ayers, especially Ramblin'. Got to pull that one out. Been too long.
  4. I'd also buy a copy of the Pendulum select if you got one for sale!
  5. Thanks CJ. No problem. If ever I come across an extra copy...
  6. My copy of the Akiyoshi Tabakin Band Mosaic Select is in mint condition. It's even still in shrink wrap. I'm looking for a copy of the Pendulum Mosaic Select in excellent condition and will do a trade. Any takers? Thanks in advance.
  7. NEA Jazz Masters: Who's Left?

    Chuck nessa and Michael Cuscuna
  8. Happy Birthday Allen Lowe

    Happy birthday!
  9. O’Donel „Butch“ Levy

Really sorry to hear this. I interview him for my college paper years ago. Was a really nice guy in addition to being a fine guitar player. Way too young.
  10. Happy Birthday BERIGAN

    Happy birthday, my man.
  11. What vinyl are you spinning right now??

One of the first records I ever bought, and it's a great one. Love your taste in music, by the way.
  12. Greatest LPs to never make it to CD

Wonder if Mosaic checks out this board.
  13. Donald Byrd

Was once in a record store in New Jersey -- Rare Records (unfortunately not there any more) -- and a woman came in to have the owner Rod put a Donald Byrd LP she had on disc. Rod would do that for people. After she dropped off the record, Donald Byrd himself came in to the store. He lived not too far away and came by once every blue moon. He signed the CD for the lady. When she came back, she had a cool surprise.
  14. Mosaic's forthcoming James P. Johnson set

Good idea. I'll give it a shot. Thanks!
  15. Mosaic's forthcoming James P. Johnson set

Seems like a lot of obscure vocalists on this. Gives me pause. Sure, Bessie Smith was great. Nevertheless....
