  2. I really wanted to see this flick, but poor reviews and an unwilling girlfriend have pushed me away from it for the time being. I still think that I want to see it albeit at minimal cost. I did, however, see "National Treasure" on the weekend. Can anyone say "Da Vinci Code"!?!?!
  3. Too bad Canada hasn't had a two dollar bill in about 5 years.
  4. They responded to my complaint saying they will "investigate the issue and get back to me."
  5. Actually I sent an email first and then placed the order later in order to ensure they couldn't weasel out of the error. Turns out they did that anyways!! Thanks goodness for Organissimo. At least, I know what the item is and that they lied to protect their collective asses.
  6. WOW...CD Universe lied to me. They said this was a one cd set and because of this fact I cancelled the order. I've since emailed them to complain. I most certainly wouldn't have cancelled the order had I know this. It seems as though they lied to me in order to avoid honoring their mispricing of the set.
  7. No other information other than they're taking it down because it was the wrong price and the disc was unavailable. Sounds fishy, but it was too good to be true anyways.
  8. This is a one cd set. I just received an email from CD Universe.
  9. I took the risk, but emailed them to cancel the order if it wasn't the Mosaic. I actually think this is the set, but the price was suppose to be the amount taken off whereas the $16.97 was suppose to be discount from the suggested retail. Either way, that would be tremendous if it was the Mosaic.
  10. Yeah, I've scaled back my collection significantly. From now on, I'll most likely be going the Mosaic route. The Wilson, Jazztet, and Gordon Select's are on my radar. As it is though, I've bought exactly one cd in the last two months and that was the Milt Jackson/Ray Charles twofer called "Soul Brothers/Soul Meeting." It smokes in case anyone was ever thinking about getting this one! BTW, happy belated birthday, Paul!
  11. I'm looking for a used copy of this one to buy. Does anyone have theirs to sell? Trying to cut back on my expenses and can't afford Mosaic's price right now, but I'd really like to get ahold of this set. Thanks!
  12. Does anyone have this original Impulse CD to trade/sell? I used to own it, and would like to give it another try. Thanks!
  13. I'm glad to hear they did arrive. This same problem occurred with akanalog and a few Elvin Jones' discs he bought. I can't explain it. Some people get their discs in less than a week. Others a month?!?!?
  14. Hmmm, I haven't received any emails. It could be that they were dispersed to my junk mail. Hotmail doesn't seem to favor Organissimo messages. Either way, the Jazztet discs were either sold on here or at the local store. I'm all out. Was your other question concerning mini lp sleeves? If so, I don't actually buy them. I've bought so many JRVGS from Hiroshi Tanno that I have leftovers. Do you need them? Send me a couple bucks for shipping and I'll get them off to you. Thanks for your interest.
  15. Are those actually from Ebay? I guess you might as well post b-3er's ebay record, and whoever else has a negative for that matter. I thought we were talking about this bulletin board and my credibility as a seller. I never have denied there wasn't an issue between us, but as far as I can see, you're the only one making a big deal about it now. After all, IT IS YOU POSTING ON THIS THREAD that I'm a deadbeat. I've apoligized. You didn't accept. That's fine, but it's certainly not "whining." It's me trying to amend the mistakes of the past. Take it for what it is or don't. It doesn't really matter. Anyways, the dog is sleeping. As I stated earlier, I don't care about you or what you say. Move on. I'm not prepared to drag this out any further.
  16. It's okay. My debt is thankfully getting lower. I want to sell them.
  17. Who the hell are these people? You know Ken, I don't really care anymore. It's as much your embarassment as mine. At least I've made an attempt to put our issues on the past. All you've done is show up on these posts and throw in your two cents about how much you despise me. I guess the best solution is for you to stay in your corner and I'll stay in mine. To hold onto to "internet beefs" is a waste of time. Good luck with all future endeavors.
  18. After taking a few days to think about the matter, I think we both overreacted Anthony. You may not want to admit it, but we're both wrong here. A bit of discretion on both our parts could've saved us the hassle. I'd hope that despite our differences on the matter you can come to realize that I did not keep those discs. It's not in my nature to steal from people and whoever on this board told you that is full of "you know what." My record in dealing with people on this board speaks for itself. I'd like to think that I do my best to take care of other board members, but I'm not perfect either. Naturally, there are going to be occasional problems.
  19. This kind of got lost in the shuffle toda, so UP!
  20. I posted a reminder to undergroundagent about 2 quite unsavoury moments from his commercial past. He flew into a rage and promptly deleted the thread. Ken, You know this isn't at all true. I offered to buy a number of CDs from you in the last lot. You insisted that I pay you back for the past transaction that went belly-up. I offered to do so under the condition that I receive the CD. You refused. There wasn't any name-calling. Heck, I wanted to business with you. Hell, I even tried to help you find a CD that you were looking for ("In a Silent Way MINI LP). I'm not sure why you continue to push this issue. Granted, you never recieved my money, but I've apoligized OVER and OVER (publicly and privately). Moreover, you never actually sent the CD. So what is the problem here? If I haven't made myself clear before, I'm sorry about the past transaction. Either let it go or accept my apology, but please don't continue to use this board as a means to slander me.
  21. Please have a look when you get a chance. Thanks! EBAY
  22. The last post didn't concern you. And who are these people that aren't singing my praises? Who are they!?!? Surely, if you refer to them, they must be willing to be heard. I haven't heard anything but silence. Thus, you must be making these people up. In fact, you are the first one to ever threaten me with regards to a sale. Most others would simply message me, request a refund, and move on. What's your excuse? The pharmacy was out of ex-lax so you needed to get your rocks off by making false accusations against me? As far as I'm concerned, you are totally in the wrong here. You never once asked for a refund. In fact, the only messages I received from you were those asking when I sent them and where they were. Moreover, I had every right to post that message. When you used Organissimo as a means to threaten me (via the post office and paypal) I had every right to let others know what you did. You can say what you want. I sent your refund when I didn't have too. I apoligized when I didn't have too. All you have done is sit up on your perch and preach innocence. And for that you can go straight to hell. I've done nothing to you.
  23. I'm not sure what anyone's experiences prove. I sent the discs on Sept. 9. Has Conn500 recieved his yet? riverrat? jazzshrink? Michel M? vibes? ejp626? PHILLYQ? Claypone? Bol? Spoontooneous? Street singer? Uncle Skid? These people all had packages in the same shipment. No complaints yet. So how's this man going to tell me that I knowingly held back his discs (Lou Donaldson's "Hot Dog," Louis Smith's "Here Comes...)? These people can all confirm that I sent the discs on Sept. 9 by simply looking at their postage stamp. The matter of "proof" has also been broached. What proof could I possibly have? The receipt from Canada Post doesn't state where the discs were sent. Only the method of shipment, and because most of these were sent by the same method one would never know if it was actually sent or not. It's besides the point now, but I posted the email because I felt threatened and I didn't think it was right for a fellow board member to use the board to slander me (or anyone). Moreover, I agree with Dan that rules regarding lost packages should be set out before the transaction takes place. It's my belief that a seller shouldn't be totally liable for packages lost in the mail. How do I know, for example, that Leeway isn't just lying to me and he actually has the discs? Why should I believe him when he says he doesn't have them? He can't prove he doesn't have them anymore than I can prove I sent them. So why am I held to be wrong? Thus, in order to avoid these mishaps, I think some sort of honor system should be set in place whereby if something doesn't show, the seller and buyer should split the costs 50/50. That's what is called a compromise.
