  2. problems might be because they lauched a special web site (in beta) for their european customers as they want to charge VAT now adding the UK 17,5% surcharge. The first destinction might be already made based on ISP in use as I have no chance any longer to get to the US site.... Cheers, Tjobbe
  3. A couple of years ago was before I'd discovered Zweitausendeins, but I got one from them in March (albeit for $60 rather than $30). but those 30$ ones have not been the LP sized boxed but those flimsy ones not including any booklet
  4. I believe the tenor he listens to most is..... Jan Garbarek cheers, Tjobbe
  5. if not Ayler, what about Peter Brötzmann Cheers, Tjobbe

  7. not that there are any new 2001 offers available but if there would be any.... you can now get an "english" Order Pad/form allowing you to understand what you're doing (although I have doubts that we know what we are doing there...some comments from my wife indicate that) Cheers, Tjobbe

one of my favourites is a set with Ross Traut called "The duo Life" which not a straight jazz records but a very enjoyable one for a winter at the open fireplaces where he plays beside some Corea/Shorter a bunch of pop classics. Cheers, Tjobbe
  9. a free download with four track sampler from current Fantasy RvG remasters.... Cheers, Tjobbe
  10. I bought BB in 1978 as my first Miles LP, sold it 1980 and it took me 20 years to buy a second one.... ok.. meanwhile there are many more added Cheers, Tjobbe
  11. would be willing to help out with German sites Jim (and potentially choose jpc.de as well) so let me know if that's ok with you. Cheers, Oliver
  12. About 105, plus the Evans & Trane boxes. It's the first of three orders for me. I can see why you'd prefer to get your orders shipped to work then... yeah, but there is a point in time where you want to bring them home, so its just "Questions delayed"....
  13. a Happy Party today Lon.. all the best. Cheers, Oliver

  15. need to correct myself: it went from the recently played pile to the recently ripped to MP3-2-go pile with Ian Hunter's You're never alone with a shizophrenic and Little Feat's Waiting for Columbus as neighbor.. Cheers, Tjobbe
  16. puhhh, its stacked somewhere in the pile that is tagged as "frequently lsitened to" and therefore not put back to the shelf and as well not knowing what's aside of it...I guess it might be some Metheny ECM and a Blakey Blue Note...
  17. got my Mingus on Satursday and a note today from jpc with apologies about not being able to get the Brownie back in stock...was a try but yu shouldn't get to gready EDIT: for sure, the delivery from 2001 contained not only the Mingus one

  19. when I was a kid I got my first one "The seven crystal balls" and started to spent my pocket money to get the others one after the other until I finally had them all but someone gave them away when I was at university believing that being 25 and reading "Comics" might be not appropriate..... I was able weanwhile to have "some" again aside other comic classics.... Cheers, Tjobbe @Dmitry: start with the first of a two-fer...and you'll buy the next automatically The secret of the Unicorn might be a good start as getting introduced into the characters and if you like it.. the Rackham the Red wil follow as part 2 of the story.
