  2. I just got a John Lewis album via a blog download. Its called "Afternoon In Paris" but not to be confused with the album he made with Sacha Distel. This one has nine tracks. Here's the information I was able to obtain: Here is the John Lewis solo piano album "Afternoon In Paris". It was recorded at Studio des Champs-Elysees, Paris on November 29th 1979. Engineered by J.-P. Pelissier. Produced by Alain Boucanus for Dreyfus Records. I checked Drefus records listing and they have no listing for this album. Does anyone have more information about this album. An album cover if you have the album would be appreciated.
  3. Found another tape that I did not even realize I had. Charlie Mariano "Beauties of 1918", World Pacific 1245. Burning it to CD right now but unfortunately there is no cover. Anyone out there with this LP who can post a cover? Aside from Mariano and Jerry Dodgian I don't know the personel. Anyone? Thanks in advance.
  4. I just got the music from this old Verve LP and have been searching the net for a copy of the cover. No luck so far. If anyone has this album I would appreciate a copy of the cover. 6. WOW!!!!!!!!!! After reading this post I decided to find my old tape of "Summit" and put it on CD. While surfing for a picture of the cover I found a web site (in Spanish I think) where you can download this entire album, free, with no entry of your e-mail, name, etc. Go here Mulligan - Astor and scroll down the page. The sound quality is excellent as I've already burned it on to a CD. Be sure to right click the download link and chose "save as" and then put it in a folder of your choice. mulligan and astor Reunion Cumbre (Summit) Tracks: Hace 20 Años (20 Years Ago) Cierra tus ojos y escucha (Close your eyes and listen) Años de soledad Deus Xango 20 años despues (20 years after) Aire de Buenos Aires (Mulligan) Reminiscence Reunion Cumbre Group: Piazzolla, Astor/Mulligan, Gerry Musicians: Piazzolla (Astor) - bandoneon Mulligan (Gerry) - baritone saxofone Gatti (Angel 'Pocho') - keyboards De Piscopo (Tullio) - drums Prestipino (Giuseppe) - electric bass Baldan (Alberto) - marimba Ziloli (Gianni) - marimba Dacco (Filippo) - electric guitar De Filippi (Bruno) - electric guitar Benedetti Michelangelo (Umberto) - violin Riccio (Renato) - viola Miori (Enio) -cello String Orchestra
