  10. Anyone interested in a Gerald Wilson without box or booklet? Or a Joe Pass in complete form? I would trade either one for, say, the Art Tatum Storyville box, or both for a Condon Mob set
  11. I bought "The Other Side of Morning" directly from Mr Davis 2 or 3 years ago. His website doesn't seem to be available anymore, but I would think you could contact him through Pitt (see http://www.music.pitt.edu/faculty/davis.html ). There is a telephone number on the back of the cd that you might try - 724-935-8206 - I remember talking to his wife (a charming lady) who handled the sale - I never spoke to Mr. Davis himself.
  12. UP, with some price reductions and a discount for buying 2 or more titles.
  13. My mistake - this is a single disc. description and price adjusted accordingly.
  14. I should have mentioned before, I am on a stride piano kick and I am open to trades (including lps). I don't need any Waller except Vol 6 of the JSP, but I have lots of gaps otherwise.

  17. Artie Shaw "Beguine the Beguine" on Documents - 10 cd box, new condition, $15 including postage in the US. Other countries okay for the actual cost of shipping. Paypal or your check. Nothing wrong with the box, it just duplicates what I have in vinyl so I don't need it. It is pretty much 1938-1942 recordings, bare bones packaging but a lot of music for little money. Send me a PM if you want it. Thanks pete
  18. I received the following email today from Stephen Taylor. Those of you that care probably know of him as the author of the comprehensive "Fats Waller on the Air". Mr. Taylor informs me that he does not plan to distribute this cd through retail channels, rather he intends to sell the copies himself through his website and perhaps through eBay. Pete Circular Letter 1 October 2009 New Fats Waller CD issued I'm pleased to announce the release of my own Fats Waller CD called "Fats Waller on the Air: 1938 Broadcasts" [TPR-FW0102]. The CD contains 3 complete broadcasts from 1938 as follows: NBC Broadcast - 12 July 1938. Broadcast to America - 10 September 1938. Yacht Club Broadcast - 18 October 1938. Plus 4 "Bonus Tracks" from vinyl test pressings. CD contains 30 tracks of which 15 tracks are previously unissued !! I remastered the recordings myself and put a lot of time into it, so I hope the result is fine. If I can recoup the costs of the CD then it will give me more encouragement to do another one with more unissued tracks. So what d'ya say? Come on, support the cause. Only US$14 + US$4 registered air-mail post (or £11.50, or Zloties or something). Please go to http://www.fatswaller.org/fatscd.html and make a secure payment online. Or if you need more info, I'd be happy to answer any queries. Better to use a new email address just for the CD at <fatswallercd@gmail.com> Regards, Steve Taylor
