I really enjoyed hearing him play with Jonathan Finlayson and Sicilian Defense last November in Columbus at the Wexner Center. In addition, his album "Trickster" was one of my favorites from last year. Any recommendations about other leader albums in the same vein? He is coming to Pittsburgh with Finlayson again in March. I have many CDs where he has been a sideman. Always enjoyed his interactions; particularly with Steve Lehman Octet. Since he has deservedly gained a lot of publicity recently, my question is where to start in his recorded catalogue as a leader? "Verisimilitude" seems to be pretty esoteric from the samples I have heard. Any recommendations? Thanks, LWayne

Saw the group premier the CD last Saturday. They played the album straight through in chronological order. Richie Cole still has a great tone, and it really comes through in a live setting. Enjoyable CD. Agreed that the song selection is "interesting" to say the least. LWayne
