  1. PM's(?) that seem to be publicly(!) visible??

That's the same thing I wondered about when I started reading this thread. They're from Barcelona, where they have a store (to which I have been). But in Madrid I think they have none. But who knows... Good that you point that out. Now I know what I don't have to do.
  2. So, What Are You Listening To NOW?

I also listened to this and a Howard McGhee sextet that also featured Kenny Drew the other night. Or the one before.
  3. Which Mosaic Are You Enjoying Right Now?

My first Select as it was #1. The first. And McLean's One Step Beyond, the session I'm with now and which opens the box, is superb.
  4. Forum Secure?

Very well said. I'm from inside the EU, so my expericence might differ from those outside the EU. I also have repeatedly seen that list with "hundreds" of partners, for some of which there is no way of opting out.
  5. Forum Secure?

I always thought that was purely a Firefox thing, but maybe it's not.

  7. Forum Secure?

I use a PC and Firefox and since the last Firefox update always get a similar message whenever I am to introduce a password as "the site is insecure". I always ignore it and assumed, long time ago, that that happened because it's not an https address, but maybe it's something else.
  8. Alan Lomax’s Music Archive

Great contribution. I'm with the Parchman prison recordings, about which I read in Ted Gioia's Delta Blues.
  9. Any *early* Pink Floyd fans? (67-72 era)

IIRC there was a movie about this gig. It was not a concert as there was no audience.
  10. So, What Are You Listening To NOW?

Continuing with my romp through the 5000 BN series from the last days this came up today. I'm going through what I have of this material on CD. Which is something but not all. This has Blakey and Chano Pozo on one session, and they play havoc.
  11. Now reading...

    Ah, thanks.
  12. Any *early* Pink Floyd fans? (67-72 era)

I'm a big fan of their first three albums from 67 to 69. But not at the time (which was too early for me), but now. The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, A Saucerful of Secrets and the soundtrack to the movie More by Barbet Schroeder, which I saw recently again after 40 years. This soundtrack is brutal. There are pastoral tracks where Pink Floyd sound more beatiful than ever (Green is the colour) and others in which they sound like a hard rock band. After that I like them only until Wish you were here. No The Wall. No sir, thank you.
  13. Now reading...

Is Joseph Roth a German? I always held him for an American. But then I'm lucky because I do read German.
  14. Verve Originals, complete list

That record's quite good. It is in a organ soul jazz vein. I have it. A mini-LP edition, by the way.
