Are English translations of the original liner notes included?

My wonder pertains to marketing/sales of the music in CD format (perhaps by JLH) compared with Eremite's vinyl only approach.

Sure... i'll rush right out and get a turntable (and arm, and cartridge, and interconnect, and phono pre-amp, and record cleaning machine, and nice wide shelf ... ). : ) Eremite has evidently not sold all of the 600 copies of this vinyl edition. I wonder what JLH could have done (might do?) with this music?

I've bought and sold several items on audiogon over a period of years- not in the last two years, though. At the time, i knew the market pretty well, jumped on pieces that were well described and at a good price when from sellers with uniformly positive feedback, and carefully described and priced pieces i no longer needed. Never found phone communication necessary, but would have provided a phone number, or telephoned, if so requested by what sounded like a serious buyer. Never had any problem.

Thank you for the news, and big thanks to BfB for leading the effort to develop this resource. My guess is that it will help Blue Note's bottom line. That is because i find that the quantity of my music purchases has tracked my increasing knowledge and appreciation of the catalog.

Great record Does Spotify have the new remasters? Yes it has the whole series, all 56 titles. None of the titles are available on my U.S.A. account.

Getting familiar with Spotify i stumbled on to 'Graceland' (25th anniversary). I could tell through $10 earbuds that this is an astonishing album. I want to hear the uncompressed CD on my main system, so... i ordered it from Amazon. Almost certainly i would never have bought it otherwise as i only browse jazz and classical music at (on-line and b&m) retailers.

I haven't been buying music the past couple of years and am curious how you advise one who wants the Complete Miles Columbia box. Does $338 (Amazon.com) seem O.K., or does it regularly appear for something significantly less (say, $275, or so)?
