Heyyy, I just got back and somebody told me that I was probably the millioneth poster. I should have known better. I bet if I kept repeating this post I would still miss it; probably be someone between my 999,999 and 1,000,001st post. But it was great having all of you welcome me back. I've been gone too long. As some of you may remember, I was set back with a couple of heart operations and then a prostate cancer operation, and then post op complications. Well, I made it through all of that and finally got some energy and enthusiasm and would like to thank all of you very much for all those good wishes you gave me back then. I have managed to get some practice (sporadically) and have put out this short musical video to sort of express how beautiful life is. BruceW

It really didn't matter how much NO beat up FAvre, Minn. coach Childress blew it when he didn't have Favre continue to run the ball and then kick that field goal in regulation. Too much can go bad on a last minute pass, just like it did - interception and subsequent loss of game. :bwallace2:

So, you're saying the Pats are retooling and you think with the four picks they will be vastly improved, maybe win their divisiion again and maybe go further in the playoffs next year. OK, I'll buy that. :-)

Pats cooled off at end of season and right into the playoffs. Did the Pats give up or did Bilichick give up. One or all will be gone next year, except Brady and Moss and Welker and his standin Sunday. Defense is shot. Arizona looking very strong but defense still gives up a lot of points. Now, what about the Colts, they lost last two and had week off. Will they be rusty and slow or all fired up?? That is the question.

So far, two of the three losers last week that have to play the same team this week, have lost again. Philly, looking like a sad shell of what they were just three weeks ago. Pathetic Cincinnati, looking even worse with the Jets "DOMINATING" them totally. Haven't looked at the matchups for tomorrow but it seems it is hard to get a win after blowing it. Oh yeah, it was Indianapolis. If they lose, they will deserve it for pulling so many of their starters. That was just a bad bad decision; But if they win, go Colts.

The NFL does have that rule. I remember it from way back when Wild Cards were first added to the League. However, they have either very quietly changed it or is allowing television to dictate who plays who. Or the commentators are ignoring it and are afraid to speak up about it. BruceW
