Agree with you about Allen Eager at this date (1957), but like Freddie Greene's contribution - makes the pianoless rhythm section meatier. Banks is ok but occasionally gets in the way. The high point of Eddie Condon's career? next up the June 1924 Gennett solos by Mr Jelly Lord on Ferd " Jelly Roll" Morton (Fountain FJ 104) - decent transfers by John RTD.
