colinmce
How much flute is there? His later reputation, plus the flute, has kept me yards away from that one in the past.

Clunky
Gordon Beck - Seven Steps to Evans - MPS Nice line up doesn't disappoint. Much more fiery than an Evans session ever was just goes to show how good/adaptable some of his compositions are.
Homefromtheforest
I love that Gordon Beck album - an incredible lineup...always a delight to hear Kenny Wheeler and Tony Oxley! I have a DVD from this group too which is nice...
jeffcrom
Sunday Jazz a la Lighthouse, Vol. 1 (Contemporary). A gorgeous copy I found yesterday, from the early 1960s, I think, based on the albums pictured on the inner sleeve.

clifford_thornton
Charles Tolliver------ The Ringer-----(Polydor UK) Never seen this original incarnation before. Cool! Yeah, for some stupid reason I passed on it at $20 more than a decade ago feeling all right with my thin and crusty-looking US pressing. Upgraded to a Japanese issue (with a nice cover by Kazuyoshi Nomachi) some years back but still haven't scored the UK version.
