I hope by "early" you mean prior to 2000. Because if you missed "The Nearness" (1995) or "Red Quartets" (1999), you missed some good stuff. I heard her play live a number of times prior to that recording and bought a couple of her recordings after that one, but I've only kept the ones before Modern Drama. Just my take and tastes. I'd never seen a copy before and the personnel aren't listed on the record. The Mine side is quartet so my guess is that Masahiro Kikuchi, Yoshiro Suzuki and Hiroshi Murakami are the rhythm section.
