Niko Posted April 12, 2018 Report Share Posted April 12, 2018 here is one that I bought that day, Niko Langenhuijsen - Hypo (VaraJazz), from 1984, one of the local (Tilburg) modern Jazz LPs I was still missing... an interesting line-up (trumpet, trombone, violin, cello (Ernst Reijseger) plus rhythm section including Langenhuijsen on piano rather than bass). More boppish than expected - and I am not a big fan of the violin solos... but it does have nice moments. will first have to see what next Saturday in Utrecht does to the music budget... (will anybody else be there?)  yeah, I've seen that album but never heard it... did pick up a gorgeous duo LP by Reijseger and Sean Bergin called "Mistakes."
