Lester Young ‘Pres’ (Esquire). Mystery live lo-fi recording and no sleeve. Still, at £3 a good find.

Quick research indicates that this LP has material also put out on Ambrosia from 1952 Birdland recordings with Jesse Drakes and Wynton Kelly. Boris Rose?

This is not a copy of the Charlie Parker Records LP of the same name?

This one's a dance date, iirc, not at Birdland.

‘Trombone By Three’ (Esquire, mono). Another £3 sleeveless special - Kai Winding, JJ and Bennie Green sessions from Prestige, RVG in the runout. Very good sound - in fact this LP looks unplayed. My guess is that this, like the Lester Young, was old warehouse stock which has been rediscovered.

If anyone has a spare sleeve, let me know. :D
