Peter Brotzmann Solo - I Surrender Dear

IMG_0137.jpg

The CD has several tracks that are not available on LP. Only 8 of the 12 tracks listed on the link below are on the LP.

Side A: 1-4

Side B: 10-11, 8-9

EDIT: Good news: the download code that comes with the LP is for the complete version of the album (12 tracks).

how's the sound on the LP? I've had a few Trost albums that were pretty badly pressed.

Grant Green, Sunday Mornin' (Blue Note/Slow Down Sounds) LDG65216_.jpg

Duke Ellington, Newport Jazz Festival, July 4, 1959 (Foxey). The cover is like the White Album. Variable sound but a lively and interesting performance. I wonder if this has ever had a more legitimate release?

Clare Fischer - Jazz Song (Revelation)

Solo piano; recorded in 1973 but not released until 1979.

Amazing.

That looks like part of what's on the double album--most of the instrumental tracks, leaving out the vocal tracks with two vocalists (the omitted Jimmy Rushing tracks are quite good).

Clare Fischer - The State of His Art (Revelation)

The companion LP to Jazz Song; recordings made at the same May 1973 session
