clifford_thornton
Strangely, I've been listening to a lot of CDs this weekend. Good for them, I guess! I did listen to the Jacques Thollot LP on Futura - bizarre melange of soundtracky compositions that really makes more sense as a Saravah than a Futura. wolff
Jack Johnson: Brushfire Fairytales When I see or hear about kids digging Jack Johnson, I get the thought that the world will be in good hands. My 16 year old says his concert at the Gorge had the largest crowd(sold out) he has ever seen there. When I first heard he would be be the headliner, I did not think there would be much of a turn out. Alfred
The guitar album - The historic Town Hall Concert (2LP, CBS 1972) I'm not sure if this concert deserves to be called historic. But it is a very good recording with some very nice musicians on it (Tiny Grimes, Chuck Wayne, Charlie Byrd, Joe Beck, Bucky Pizzarelli, George Barnes & John McLaughlin). One highlight: Joe Beck together with Al Harewood & Larry Ridley.
