Indeed.

Probably my single favorite Chico record.  Such great playing and compositions -- plus Harold Land!

This is one of McPartland's most interesting records, I think.

Jimmy Madison's drumming on Ambiance really caught my ear.  Wanting to hear more, I pulled this LP off the shelf:

Jack Walrath - Wholly Trinity (Muse, 1988)
with Chip Jackson & Jimmy Madison

... not that I need an excuse to spin this LP!  It's reeeeaaaallly good.

And Jimmy Madison! Yeah man! I dig!

havent picked up a new jazz lp in a while but i got this which i didnt know of- its a laid back record itll be good

R-3983551-1351369567-2156.jpeg.jpg  i got the reissue  which still should be as good as the orig i suppose- vinyl look R-3983551-1451585351-3218.jpeg.jpg s to be of good quality, maybe virgin vinyl, almost in "dynaflex" style

but note they labeled the lp Off the Record instead of the title of the lp--- also it has a mono rear cover, stereo front cover- and stereo lp - real stereo
