The NFL Season

224 posts in this topic

the season starts on thursday

i like the colts in their game vs pats

if browns don't win the super bowl, my "real" pick would be the ravens

ray lewis is gonna have a monster season

also the "super freak" randy moss with the new receiving rules,

nobody can stop him

the pack cut tim couch acouple days ago, what a waste of the #1 pick for my browns!!!

get your superbowl winner pick in before the season starts

anyone involved in fantasy football?

Good game so far.

Can't believe I'm staying up to watch the end of this. I've got to get up early tomorrow.

Colts up by 4 at the half.

Pats run defence looks awful so far. Shoulda kept Big Ted Washington.

What's with Ty Law? He was on the sideline during a critical part of the first half.

Colts are up for this one. The Pats had an indifferent preseason. They don't quite look "ready" yet, but they're still in the game. Anything can happen at this stage, but looks like there will be a lot of points.

Colts O-line looks great.

Great game, but I can't say that I was pleased with the nitpicky penalties against the Patriots.

Almost seems like the refs were struggling to keep the Colts in the game.

Charley Weiss needed to run Corey more than 15 times...

Sorry, but you're wrong again, SS1.

Keep betting against the Pats, and you'll have a very long season. Didn't you learn your lesson last year? ;)

Fast paced game last night...but where were the defenses? :)

For this year I'm keeping up hopes for my lifelong underdog faves - Seattle Seahawks

And I hate the Raiders. :g

I hate 'em, but your boys are no joke. Still shocked they added Dillon this year...scary.

Pat's defence did not look good at all.

They won't win the SuperBowl playing the same kind of "D"

But the season is early...

Belichick was shuffling players in and out of the Defensive line and the secondary. Lot of new faces and we have to see who plays well together.

Big Ted has gone to the Raiders. He will be missed. Rookie Vince Wilfolk and vet Keith Traylor are trying to take his place.

I don't think teams have worked out the preseason kinks yet. We have to wait till half season to see who will be the serious contenders.

Pundits are saying the "newcomers" this year will be the Vikings, Eagles, and Seahawks. Will have to see...

Anyway, we're 1-0 for now... :P

who cares about the pats

the main question is how in the hell can the browns stop jamal lewis?

he ran for 500 yards in 2 games vs the browns swiss cheese "d"

lewis ran over, around and through us for 295 and 205 rushing yards in each game

kellen winslow II should be a stud if he can keep his ego in check

jeff garcia is the best qb we've had since our rebirth

Holy shit the Lions actually won one on the road!!!!

I saw some of the game on tv, Jim. Switched back and forth from the Browns game to the Lions.

I thought it was a bit dull. Neither team looked very good. In the meantime, Minnesota looks like a powerhouse.

Still, one step at a time, I guess.
