Were they intentionally trying to butcher this tune? I have a hard time believing they included this track for any reason other than a perverse sense of humor. Nate once around linked a review at Bagatellen in which the reviewer expressly singled out the tune for criticism... I have to say, surely it's a good thing that we can find Braxton's standards controversial in some way? I didn't know he had a web site (I'll take a look later). But I enjoy the recent Braxton standards. The band is tight, his playing is warped.
