For what it's worth, I think this is pretty good. When printed, it's a little confusing because it's easy to lose track of which text goes with which photo, but he does provide clear, direct info on the various issue labels.

Back in the mid to late 60's new Blue Note releases,in our shop, sold for $2.95 mono and $3.95 stereo. I dont remember the mono wholesale price, but i think the stereo lp's were about $2.60 or thereabouts.

Those $1.47 prices were probably clearence prices. I think back in those days we were buying Riverside and Prestige closeouts for about $1.25 and selling them for $1.99.

After looking at the labelography page, I realize that my vinyl of Larry Young's "Into Somethin' " appears to be an original Mono version. Any idea what this thing's worth?

I've seen this one go for at least $150 in mono, if it has the ear.

My mono copy has the 'ear' on both sides.

I'm gonna be rich :rolleyes:
