EBrew
Just walked 4 blocks in the rain to pick up the last copy. Listening to the first cut and T's solo... it was worth it. B)

Big Wheel
Looking forward to hearing this one. Maxjazz is a great company with a president, Richard McDonnell, who couldn't be nicer.
mgraham333
Well I got it and was NOT disappointed. Stafford has a very nice tone. It's good to hear proof that Jazz isn't solely for re-issuing, that there are worth-while new releases.
pryan
This looks like a sweet album. I'll admit to having no Stafford records, but this one looks like a good place to start. He sounds like a fine soulful player with a gorgeous, big sound. Reminds me, in a way, of Roy Hargrove. I really liked that solo from the link that mgraham provided. Add another cd to the ever-growing want list! Edited June 19, 2003 by pryan
