Rooster_Ties Posted May 3, 2005 Report Share Posted May 3, 2005 (edited) Hi everyone, Through PM's, I've already heard from a handful of the distributors that they got their discs (which I sent out last over week), and that they are now in the process of burning copies, and sending them out to their distribution lists. If you are a distributor, or just a participant -- please check in here (this thread) when you get your discs. Thanks!!! If anyone didn't sign up earlier, a number of distributors said they would be happy to burn and distribute more copies -- just say the word!!! Send me a PM if you would still like a copy, and haven't signed up yet. I still have a small handful of the individual discs to send out (meaning the one's that come with a free disc from the "Pay If Forward" thread, but those will go out tomorrow or Thursday. Note: ALL of the distributor discs were sent last week, so the ball is definitely (finally!!) rolling on BFT#25. FYI, I will open up the discussion threads as soon as two people, from two different distribution lists indicate that they've gotten their discs. The first BFT disc is the "serious" one, where people get to tell what they think about the tunes, and who they think the musicians could be (or who they sound like, at least). The second BFT disc is just a fun disc that I thought people would like. If you don't have time to offer your thoughts about both discs, the first disc is really the more important one, and the one I'm looking for feedback about. (And just in case the discs get mislabeled by any of the distributors, the second disc is the one that starts with a modern big-band number.) This meant a few more mailings for me, but given the large number of discs I'm asking people to burn (four CD's per mailing), I thought I'd try not to lean on anyone, any more than I had to. Apologies to the European folks -- there were fewer distribution offers, so your distribution lists are a little bit longer than the U.S. folks.
