steve novosel-fathead newman's "captain buckles"

ak, I saw Steve Novosel in concert in DC with Lloyd McNeal and Eric Gravat in '68. I thought the whole band was great! I didn't hear much of him in the next few years, and then his name cropped up again in the papers as the husband of Roberta Flack.

Chick Corea – My Spanish Heart

These choices really surprise me ; can't believe I'm going to be the first one to say that Tones For Joan's Bones is the one essential album from Mr. Corea . In my view , the compositions , solos and swing on that album are unmatched by anything else in his oeuvre , save perhaps Now He Sings , Now He Sobs .
