Jazz Kat
I just bought a brand new Ibanez Artcore wide body jazz guitar. It was around 400 bucks. The thing is beautiful! I love it. I also bought a new amp with it, and it started working out ok, but I've noticed, when I play, all the sudden, the volume goes all the way down for about 5 seconds, then comes back up. It repeats this about 20 times b4 I get pissed and shut the god damned thing off! Some help? What is this? How can I fix it?

casanovas347
Hey Kat! if the amp is brand new...take it back to the store and ask for a new one.... did you check the guitar-cable, try various ones.....sorry for asking something stupid, but i had a lot of customers asking me about problems, and thats one of my first answers! if not....tell me the type, brand, everything you got on it (fx-loop, whatever)...i'll write you a "first-check-list" what you can try before we have to open and check what could be wrong....(don't forget....110Volts inside....tube-amps even more....around 300 - 500 Volts....be carefull) i'll help you as much as possible....(its my day-job) http://www.bassline.ch/paco_casanovas.htm all the best Paco Edited July 14, 2005 by casanovas347
Jazz Kat
Thanks. Umm It's not the chord, I tried numerous ones. When I bought the guitar, the guy let me try it out on the amp and it seemed fine. This amp was used not brand new. I fugred I just take it back so they can be bothered with it.
