Don't recall seeing clem on Board for a while. Have I missed something? Hope he hasn't left.

Maybe he got arrested for stalking Francis Davis.

Wow, for some reason, this thread should have a soundtrack!

:D

He'll be glad to know he was missed!

He had a flurry of post deleting back in early June. Don't know what that means. I hope he and his family are doing well.

Yes I noticed that he must have deleted some posts when I read an old thread the other day & it reads like I was having an arguement with myself.

I think they had people like Clem in mind when they designed the "Ignore" function. With my self-imposed exile from the Politics Forum, he's the sole reason I'd ever consider using that option. I'll probably draw him out of hiding by saying this, but perhaps I won't have to?

Shouldn't this be changed to "they had people with sensitivities like Dan Gould's in mind"? I've butted heads with Clem on this board, but these kinds of behind-the-back insults are lame.

Does anyone remember when Dan went ballistic last August when I posted a picture of a woman in a two piece swimsuit in the babe's thread? He called it pornographic!

Good times, good times...

Don't want this to be an "insult Dan" thread any more than I want it to be an "insult Clem" thread...

I'm not insulting anybody. They're free to behave any way they want.

Actually I believe it was Allen Lowe who welcomed the possibility of an ignore function for ol' Clem. As I say, I haven't used it yet.

I hope Clem comes back. He makes me think. I know some members don't like thinking, but let the rest of us exercise our brains.

And how exactly is it a behind-the-back insult???

Last time I checked, this was a public forum. If Clem is lurking or ever comes back, it will be right there for him to see.

Last I heard, he was in a mine looking for his old man.

Hope he's not lost and gone forever.

He better not be lost. I'm here in NY now, and he owes me a walking tour.

Some might call it an insult and it very well may be.

It's more baiting - that's what it is.

Yeah, Dan; knock it off and quit bashing Clem.

Give someone else a shot at him...
