GregK
There are a few sealed Coltrane Impulse vinyl LPs in a local shop. I was wondering if anyone has any idea about the sound quality of these compared to the CDs; specifically, I was looking at Live at Birdland, and Sun Ship. I am assuming that these are reissues, and if so, are they transfers from the digital masters used for the CDs, or are they original analog? Is there any way to tell? brownie
Can't remember ever seeing a sealed copy of the analog 'Live At Birdland'. Those original vinyls were not factory-sealed, as far as I know. Edited May 20, 2006 by brownie
