What's a fair price for the Commodore vol.1 Mosaic?

Recommended Posts

Although $300 is not a bad price, I have seen several copies of Volume I go for less than $250 on ebay over the last year. If you are willing to wait and monitor ebay listings, I am sure that you could easily beat $300. (Of course, Mosaic prices always seem to surge on ebay during the fourth quarter as Christmas fast approaches.)

Why not offer the local store $250 and see what happens.

A friend of mine has acquired V. 1, but there's no booklet with it. Didn't all three sets come with individual booklets?

Yep - My V1 certainly has one.

So has mine! I have also included a copy of a very interesting 12-page article/interview of Milt Gabler that appeared in the February 1988 issue of Audio magazine.

Does Mosaic still have extra booklets?

Yes--my friend, who runs a record store, sold the set to me for $110, and I got a booklet from Mosaic last week. The box is a bit banged up, but the LPs are in excellent shape.

Now I just need to get a record player...that will happen, budgetarily speaking, in May.
