Soulstation1
Lou-zzzzer says,"Mark it down, Indy Vs NO." He went 1-3 last week.....
Scott Dolan
I still can't see Indy beating the Pats. Pats vs. Saints.
Soulstation1
i've said it before, Tony Dungy deserves a SB ring.... Class-Act 24 /
Scott Dolan
Nobody "deserves" one. They have to earn it. I've got no problem with Dungy, but like Marty he has yet to prove he can actually take a team to the next level and win it all.
Noj
I'm rooting for the teams I don't think are going to win: Indy and NO.
jazzmessenger
JAZZMESSENGER did you make any picks this week? Sorry I was staying away from Organissimo forums after the Chiefs lost. My picks were Baltimore, New Orleans, Chicago, and San Diego. Since I didn't give my picks before the weekend, you don't need to keep me in the poll. This week, I am picking New England and New Orleans (although I think Indy will win).
Soulstation1
i guess dungy won a SB ring with the steelers, but that doesn't count
T.D.
I like Tony, and remember watching him play QB for the Gophers! I dunno if he can be blamed for the subpar defenses that the Colts constantly field. Maybe the GM is at fault? Or does Manning make so much $$$ that he kills the salary cap? Still, James's departure should have freed up some bucks for defenders. Edited January 18, 2007 by T.D.
connoisseur series500
i've said it before, Tony Dungy deserves a SB ring.... Class-Act 24 / 7 Count me in as a Tony Dungy fan. ...terrific and honorable man, but I'll be damned if he gets to the Super Bowl over defeated Patriot teams. Go Pats!!! T.D.
Holy crap, I hit 'em both! Did the picks Wed. to avoid overanalyzing. When the ESPN.com "experts" came out 100% for the Saints on Fri., I was salivating. But I practically wrote the Colts off @ halftime (the "pick-six" seemed crushing). Edited January 22, 2007 by T.D. T.D.
How about some wacky cross-sport proposition bets? Examples: Who will have more: (1) Alex Ovechkin shots on goal in Isles-Caps (-130) or Colts and Bears combined QB sacks (+110)? (2) Total punts in Super Bowl (-110) or assists by Jason Kidd in Hawks-Nets (+110)? (3) Dominic Rhodes combiled rushing and receiving yards (+120) or Ernie Els fourth-round score at Dubai Desert Classic (-140)? This stuff is fascinating... Edited February 4, 2007 by T.D. T.D.
I thought I had two primo squares (6-6 and 1-3) in SS1's pool, but didn't even get a sniff. Say, who won the weekly playoff pool?
