vince lombardi's home

Nice! thank you.

set up my own little shrine of childhood Packer memorabilia in front to the telly yesterday and it paid off!

I had that exact pennant when I was a kid.

childhood memories are the most vivid, and often the dearest. thanks.

it's so unusual seeing any worthwhile writing coming from espn.

yes ... my coolest tangible is the sole remainder of a pair of GB half helmets that fit on the front hub of the Schwinn. saved up many a box top as I recall.

still have all my electric football men that I painted w/ Testor's for each team after tossing the tin field. the Redskins helmet was a pain!

A high school classmate of mine, Hank Graham, has made the Associated Press! (For those who don't care about me and my classmates, this is about the teams' ticket prices.)

Remember when David Letterman was on NBC he had a deal called "Brush with Greatness", when members of the audience would tell how they met somebody famous once? Well now another classmate of mine has made the Associated Press! (Sue Richard)

And this link too is about the NFL lockout.

Here's an AP article which says that five NFL teams are willing to consider moving to Los Angeles.

We don't want no stinkin' NFL team...

Interesting that three of the five teams used to be located in LA.

Tim Leiweke has been running the same jive for years about a NFL team. Everyone knows that before a team can come, there has to be a commitment to build a stadium, and the in no way, absolutely no way, that public money will be used -- LA, like all of Cali, is a financial mess, and cannot afford to spend any money on something as bs as the NFL. Besides, we get three or four games on tv every Sunday, who wants to take that away to watch a relocated Jacksonville Jaguars team? heck, they don't even want that team in Jacksonville! Another basketball team in the area, I can see, not the NFL, no one wants the NFL here.
