jazzbo
Maybe it's just because I do a lot of cooking, but this is still my favorite of the NOT CLASSIC BLUE NOTE covers of recent years.

mikeweil
Let's ask b3-er to retitle this thread "Blue Note Uncovered". Slightly off topic, but the Blue Note Hip Chicks Series was a smash on the BNBB: Greasy stuff
mikeweil
Had to think about it for a while ... Since this is the only Blue Note LP I bought twice just to frame the cover- it still hangs at the wall behind me as I write this - I guess this is my all time favourite Blue Note LP cover:
JSngry
What's up with the button on her shirt?
catesta
What's up with the button on her shirt? And why aren't more women wearing that same shirt?
jazzbo
At least 2. Some have extra. Mingus did. Me too.
JSngry
An extra? You mean, like a spare, in case one falls off? Most shirts today DO come like that!
jazzbo
I've got two extra. But no one is going to remove one or sew one on!
jazzbo
The one that started the thread at Blue Note I believe. . . .Comes with extra forehead buttons too! Edited August 13, 2003 by jazzbo

Dmitry
Are these covers for real? I've never seen 'em before.
jazzbo
They are definitely for real. . . I didn't make them up in photoshop! From Blue Note France, available from Dusty Groove et al.
mikeweil
Except for the really nude cover art girl, these are all real, anthologies issued by EMI in France I believe. Amazon in France carries them, they include some rare tracks. Go to Amazon France, type "blue note divers" into the search field, and you will get most of them.
