So i just picked my M3 today and it sounds great. Everything works and cosmetically it looks good. So now I want the leslie. The guy says he'll give me the leslie for free. Apparantly hes got a lot of stuff and is looking for good homes for them. Anyway, my question is..how do you connect an M3 to a leslie 125? What do I have to do? What do I have to buy? Thanks for the replies.

Ask the guy if he has the kit to adapt an M3 to a Leslie, it will contain the control box and adaptor wiring, Leslie cable, and Chorale/Tremolo switch. If he doesn't have it, you may have to find an organ repair shop that works on Hammonds and Leslies. Since Hammond (the original company) went out of business, I can't think of anywhere else to get them.

Call my up my friend Rick Prevallet at Tonewheel General Hospital. He'll sell you the correct kit. Do you know how to solder and follow basic schematics?

If not, you should find an organ tech in your local phone book and he/she could do the work for you. Either that, or someone who knows electronics and can follow a schematic. It's not hard if you have a basic understanding of electronics, but if you don't, I'd find someone to do it for you.
