Robert J
Last.fm is called the "Social Music Revolution". Basically it’s a big database of tunes and the play lists evolve as listeners choose tags and participate in the process of listening. So it is supposed to locate what you like and what you'd like to hear, and is evolving. Very interesting. The forums also allow recommendations and ways to hip to other stations. I've tried a few of the “stations” from bebop, Coltrane, Fugazi, ambient, Sonic Youth, Steve Albini, classical piano etc – to test its breadth. Impressive. You can skip tunes you don't like as well, or favourite others. Right now I’m listening to a 30 minute long raga! It’s a free service that plugs into ITunes or WMP. Check it out. http://www.last.fm/ some background http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Last.fm http://www.stevekrause.org/steve_krause_bl...ra_and_las.html

Robert J
That's what it is compared to. Anything to give me more music access at work is fine by me.
