Dan Gould
Come on people, give up some love for old Gene!
John Tapscott
This a a tough one. Had to go with Benny, though. I think his playing with Brown was outstanding, generally more interesting to me than on his own Blue Note dates. And having the great Jeff Hamilton on drums didn't hurt a bit, either. JazzKitten
I once had the pleasure of sharing some orange soda and a 20 minute conversation with the guy. He's a decent fellow, and my 2nd favorite cutie in the jazz world! JK
catesta
I really like Keezer, but I gave Harris his props.
mikeweil
I voted for Keezer for his exuberance. Saw Gene Harris too with Ray, and although he was a great blues player and the trio was very well together, the exitement Keezer brought into the trio tops it for me. Benny Green didn't show as much individuality, for my ears.
