best/classic versions of "What's New?"

The two that spring to mind for me (or three now) are Konitz's version with Mehldau and Haden on Blue Note; cant't remember which disc it's on -- the first with the V shaped stripes on the cover I think.

Both are from paintings by Kenneth Noland, so you can't be faulted too hard.

Bit 'off topic' Clifford but is this the only time Blue Note has used works of art other than it's own in house design team?

Interesting to know; particularly as these are such visually striking pieces.
