brownie
Welcome, Randy! The standard reference guide for jazz vinyls is this one http://www.krausebooks.com/product/264/records Far from perfect since prices for vinyls tend to fluctuate but the book will give you an idea of what's rare these days. Here is the Count Basie band lineup for that Savoy Ballroom appearance: Buck Clayton,Ed Lewis, Bobby Moore (tp) Eddie Durham (tb,g) George Hunt, Dan Minor (tb) Earl Warren (as, bassax) Lester Young, Herschel Evans (ts) Jack Washington (alto, bar) Count Basie (p) Freddie Green (g) Walter Page (b) Jo Jones (d) Jimmy Rushing, Billie Holiday (vcl)
