Shawn, have you listened to ELO's "Time" album? I heard it for the first time about 5 years ago and now it's tied for my favorite ELO record.
I'm now listening to:

Chet Baker - The Italian Sessions
I was going to do the April Fool's thing and post a Kenny G album or the Jim Nabors Mosaic set... lol
NGC-4594: Skipping Through The Night. I love how on all the liners of my psychedelic rock cds, every, and I mean every cd is described as "lost classic." What ever happened to just being good?

Absolutely! There sure were a lot of "geniuses" in some of these forgotten bands.
I love the music, but sometimes the revisionism gets old.
I also wanted to mention that I love your avatar. "Inauguration of the Pleasure Dome" is a favorite and Marjorie Cameron was a very interesting woman.
Sometimes I feel guilty about my love of the movies of Kenneth Anger, but I see something new and interesting every time I watch one. I almost used Anais Nin as my avatar -- Pleasure Dome is a great movie!

I was thinking about making a Cat Shatner avatar with an Anais Nin picture with the birdcage. lol
I think Anger's movies are fascinating. I can understand the guilty pleasure aspect of it too. I agree, Pleasure Dome is an amazing film. I love the how the images and the Janacek soundtrack work together. It's even more fascinating when you look into the lives of the people in the movie.

Yes, I bought the LP when it first came out in '81, I think I also had the 45 single of Twilight. Really good album, generally overlooked. My favorite E.L.O. is Face The Music, but I like most of their albums.
That's cool. Discovery was the last ELO album I purchased at the time of the original release. I wish I would have heard Time back then.
I have Face the Music but haven't really listened to it much. I think I'll give it a listen.
