It's a two-disc set on Tzadik, with Haino Keiji, Bill Laswell, and Rashied Ali. My first tast of Keiji, and it's actually pretty interesting.

Not sure what I can compare it to, but it's loud and aggressive. Keiji is an interesting guitar player, and an unusual vocalist as well. Not really lyrics to this one.

AMG compares it to Sonic Youth, but I'm not familiar enough with them to decide if that's apt. Only Youth album I had was the Ciccone Youth/Madonna takeoff.

Ralph Peterson -- Tests of Time

Basie--America's #1 Band

Paul Quinichette--Vice Pres (Verve Elite)

Stanley Turrentine Mosaic #1

Eric Alexander--Second Milestone

ANd inadvertantly caught Glen Campbell on tv singing Galveston--that song keeps playing in my head, so I guess I've been listening to that too. Maybe it's time to track down a Jimmy Webb collection or something.
