It's based on a photo by Christer Landergren, and the engraving is made by Czeslaw Slania in 1983 (Lars Gullin himself died in 1976). The Duke Ellington stamp came out years earlier than the other stamps, when the U.S. first class postage rate was less. Duke's stamp was not issued as part of a group. I'd didn't know about it before and immediately posted to the Duke-Lym group under the subject line "Forty-two Cent Stomp". (And I don't usually like puns.)
