The New Year's Concert of the Vienna Philharmonic

These concerts not only delight the audiences in the Musikverein in Vienna, but also enjoy great international popularity through the world wide television broadcasts, which now reach over 50 countries........

The Vienna Philharmonic New Year's Concert 2009 will be conducted by Daniel Barenboim.

I try to watch every year ..... and every time they find way to melt my heart ...

I try to avoid it every year with much succes!!!! But to each it's own and I love the Wiener Philharmoniker and most of the conductors who do the new year's concerts, it's just this type of classical music which doesn't do it for me.

just a wild guess... you're also one of those don't watch the vienna opera ball on tv every year

I don't watch that either: I attend these concerts (just to make so much noise I get thrown out every time)!!!
