My favorite Brubeck album is "Quiet as the Moon" from 20 years ago, with lots of Charlie Brown/Peanuts references. A jazz pianist whose age in years is equal to the keys on his instrument is to be celebrated as much as a bowler who scores his weight. I will listen to some stuff from The For All Time Box and maybe a bit of "Live at Carnegie Hall". The first Brubeck LP I ever heard as a kid was "Jazz Goes to College", it might have been close to an original pressing on thick, heavy vinyl.
